ICE Out of Waltham Vigil & Rally

Join our upcoming march: “ICE OUT OF WALTHAM!” Together, we’ll stand against the harm ICE has caused in our community and demand a city where all our neighbors are safe and free.
We’ll gather at the Waltham District Courthouse and march to Waltham Common. We’ll also hold a community vigil honoring those taken from us by this unjust and authoritarian system.
If you’ve been directly impacted by ICE – or if you’re simply outraged by what’s happening – this is your moment to show up, speak out, and take space. ICE is not welcome in Waltham!
After the vigil, we’ll share next steps for local organizing, mutual aid opportunities, and ongoing actions – because the march is just the beginning!
Meet at the Waltham District Courthouse (38 Linden St.) – March starts promptly at 11:15 AM.
It is our understanding that the route will be wheelchair and stroller accessible, and it’s a relatively short walk. Please park in the parking lot across from the courthouse (by Petco) as there’s plenty of space there. We discourage parking directly at the District Court.
If you can, carpool with friends and neighbors to help reduce traffic and make arrival smoother.
This will happen rain or shine so dress for the weather and bring water!
Bring a sign!
Stay peaceful. Our power is in our unity and discipline. Trained peacekeepers and marshals in yellow vests, along with legal observers, will be on site to ensure everyone’s safety. If you feel unsafe or need help during the event, reach out to a marshal.
Bring a friend. Share this invitation, spread the word, and let’s fill the streets. Bring your story. Those who’ve experienced ICE’s impact firsthand will be invited to share during the vigil.
Can’t Make It In Person? You can still be part of the movement:
- Join Fuerza: We’re a neighborhood network protecting immigrant neighbors and responding to ICE activity in real time. If you are unfamiliar with our work, here is a recent video clip showing how we support our community. If our values resonate with you, fill out our inquiry form to get involved and trained.
- Donate: We continue to provide direct aid to families affected by raids and deportations. Monthly contributions – no matter the amount – go straight to those rebuilding their lives.
