DESCRIPTION:Come join us Monday and Tuesday 11-1 to protest ICE cruelties. \nWhere: Burlington\, MA: From 11–12 we hold signs on a busy street to communicate our message publicly\, and from 12–1 we gather outside the ICE office for a more informal time of signs\, speaking out\, connection\, and visible solidarity with immigrants while making our presence known to ICE.\nWhat to bring: A sign!\nMeeting point: Corner of Burlington Mall Road and District Ave\, closest to Pressed Cafe.\nAfter: Optionally join us for lunch at Pressed Cafe.

DESCRIPTION:Perhaps you have seen the videos of the good people of Minneapolis singing peacefully in protest against the surge of violence in their city. Across the United States and in countries around the world\, people are joining in song. If this is news to you\, please see this Anderson Cooper story: \nhttps://youtu.be/t4qXXNnjGHQ?si=hGNFh8Y927gQbvvD\n\n\nRecently\, the Minneapolis organizers have been helping people organize in community groups. There is no cost\, no ask. They seek to help those interested in engaging to protest in song.\n\nIf you look at singingresistance on Instagram\, you can see their “Toolkit” which is an important start. They recommend groups get together to sing and build community before going out to sing in protest.\n\nCheck out singingresistancelincolnma on Instagram and come to the first Lincoln community gathering to talk about this movement and sing some songs. All are welcome… all ages\, those who sing on pitch and those who find their own notes.
